We manufacture in our own factory in Maramureș, Romania, and sell directly to customers in the United Kingdom. There is no UK retailer or intermediary between us and you.

Cost

Free delivery to the UK mainland on every order, with no minimum spend.

Prices include UK VAT and all import duties. We ship Delivered Duty Paid, so there is nothing to pay when the courier arrives — no customs charge, no handling fee, no VAT demand.

Timing

Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Delivery to the UK mainland is normally the next working day. We do not dispatch or deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or UK public holidays.

Made-to-measure mattresses are cut to order. We confirm the production time by email when we accept the order.

The delivery date shown on a product page is our honest estimate based on the courier's cut-off. It is not a guaranteed date. If we are going to miss it substantially we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

Where we deliver

We deliver to England, Wales and mainland Scotland as standard. The Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly may carry a surcharge or a longer transit time — the correct charge is shown at checkout before you pay. We do not deliver outside the United Kingdom through this website.

How mattresses arrive

Most of our mattresses are vacuum-rolled and boxed, which makes them easy to carry upstairs. Unroll within 72 hours of delivery and allow up to 48 hours to reach full height. Deeper models are delivered flat and are heavy — please have a second person available.

Delivery is to your door. Our couriers do not carry items into rooms, remove packaging or assemble anything unless you have bought that service separately.

Old mattress removal

If you buy old mattress removal with your order, the courier takes your old mattress away at the same delivery. It must be bagged, dry and free of soiling. The crew may refuse a mattress that is wet or contaminated, and in that case we refund the removal charge.

If you are not in

The courier leaves a card and attempts redelivery. If the order comes back to us because it could not be delivered, we may charge the actual cost of a further attempt before we send it out again.

Problems

Email customers@cadarbeds.co.uk with your order number. Report visible damage within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the product.
