We manufacture in our own factory in Maramureș, Romania, and sell directly to customers in the United Kingdom. There is no UK retailer or intermediary between us and you.

1. Changing your mind — your 14-day right

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason.

Tell us by emailing customers@cadarbeds.co.uk — a clear statement is enough. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You pay the cost of returning the goods. Returns go to our UK returns address:

[TO BE CONFIRMED — UK returns address]

A mattress is bulky and heavy.  We can arrange collection for you and deduct the cost from your refund, or you can arrange your own carrier. Either way the cost is yours.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, to the payment method you used. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

2. Items you cannot return once unsealed

Pillows, mattress toppers and mattress protectors are sealed for hygiene. Once that seal is broken they cannot be returned under regulation 28(3)(b) of the 2013 Regulations, which excludes sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons. Unopened items can be returned as above.

Made-to-measure mattresses are excluded from the 14-day right because they are made to your specification. See our Terms and conditions of sale.

Neither exclusion applies to faulty goods.

3. The 100-night trial

Every standard-size mattress comes with a 100-night trial that goes further than your legal rights. It does not apply to made-to-measure mattresses, toppers, pillows, duvets or bedding. Full terms are on our 100-night trial page.

4. If something is faulty or not as described

Contact us with your order number and photographs. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Within 30 days — reject it and get a full refund.
  • 31 days to 6 months — we will repair or replace; if that is not possible or fails, a refund or price reduction.
  • After 6 months — the same remedies, though you may be asked to show the fault was there at delivery.

We pay all carriage costs for faulty goods. You never pay to return something that is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered.

5. Damaged on arrival

Check your order when it arrives. Tell us within 48 hours if the packaging or the mattress is damaged, with photographs of both. We will collect and replace at our cost.

6. What we need back

Returned goods should be clean, dry and free of stains, odours or damage. A mattress that has been used without a protector and is soiled cannot be resold and we may refuse the return or reduce the refund. This does not affect your rights over faulty goods.

7. Refund timing

Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the goods, or of you proving you sent them, whichever is earlier. Your bank may take a further 3–5 working days to show the money.
